ANGLETECH QUADRA-PED RECUMBENT TRIKES.

Options for performance, comfort, transport and alter-abled adaptability make these trikes the most versatile on the market.

How the QuadraPed Works.

While both arms and legs power the QuadraPed, additional muscle groups in the chest, shoulders, and back contribute to power play. Hands or feet intuitively steer by tilting the steering column left to steer left, right to steer right. Two internal drum brakes, actuated by the crank systems, do the primary braking in an even, smooth manner. Additionally a standard parking brake is included operating off the rear. This brake also doubles as drag brake for those long downhill runs, keeping your speed in check. Adjustable sliding crank booms, and an easy sliding quick release seat facilitate a perfect fit. As well as the total body format, we offer individual floating leg rests for arms only or arms and one leg operation. "S" model for smaller riders is also available.

Upright Handcycle

A 4 wheeler, side by side tandem like no other. Pacific's 2-Rider has an aluminum frame and usual attention to detail putting other side by side designs off the list. 8 speed independent drive, 4 point elastomer suspension, high back padded recumbent seats with 8" of adjustment range, alloy wheels with high pressure tires.  Parking brake, canopy, luggage tray, and stand are part of the package. X-3 SX         

Sun Bicycles recumbent bikes and trikes are sold in a fully adjusted and assembled state before pick up by the consumer at our ANGLETECH store in Woodland Park, Colorado.

The X3 series is a line of more modestly priced recumbents designed by Gardner Martin of Easy Racers. Manufactured by Sun Cycles, these trikes are great recreational rides. Additionally, ANGLETECH has found the X3 SX very adaptable for the alter-abled, and for various rehab purposes. The featured X3 SX has the lumbar curved, Kool Back seat with adjustable backrest, and famed Easy Racer handlebar format. Basket & fenders are optional along with a host of other items.

X-3 USX	M-3 UAX

EZ3 USX HD The EZ3 USX HD offers underseat steering and a shock absorbing suspension in a low step over design. Crank height is higher relative to your hips for more hill climbing leverage. Finally, the frame folds in half for easier transport. Extra heavy duty 48 spoke wheels. 400# rider weight capacity . Folded dimensions: 45 L x 33.5 W x 35 H

X-3 AX

The X3 AX takes the basic idea of the X3 SX and improves on it. Starting with an aluminum frame to drop the weight 6 pounds, a 20" front wheel, cambered rear wheels, and 2.5" lower seat height to improve handling and stability. The crank position improves climbing efficiency, and the X3 AX has left wheel drive keeping more of your traction on a paved surface. Component wise, everything is significantly better.

From the Sims in Australia, the most well known tadpole trike design. The full line is available from ANGLETECH.

The Greenspeed trike experience in a 30 second fold format.  More compact 16” wheels, 19-95 gear inch range in the drive, and a lower price than other Greenspeeds. Aluminum framed at 40#, a differential rear end for ultimate traction and handling manners that are best in its class. Comes with rear rack and fender.      Featured here is our GL81 packaged GTO. We have found that most people order disc brakes, and the SRAM Dual Drive rear hub with the upgraded derailleurs and crank systems when ordering the factory spec.  The GTO GL81 includes: Magura BIG hydraulic disc brakes with single lever actuation for straight line stops every time, no brake steer, Suntour cold forged Superbe cranks with Phil stainless sealed crank bearings, SRAM Dual drive hub with XT derailleur, Velocity Aeroheat rims hand built with DT spokes, and the excellent Comp Pool tires. All assembled in the states at a price better than factory equivalent.   GTT TANDEMS. The Jones family in Colorado enjoying their Greenspeed GTV with their daughter in the 3 seat Tanjor trailer. The stability and fun of a Greenspeed for 2.  S&S Coupler option on the GTT brings things down to a transportable size. One of the bonuses of the GTV tandem (shown above) is that you can remove the center frame section and it becomes a single! Specifications and Prices Options and Accessories GREENSPEED GTH   Unlike other handcycle designs, the Greenspeed GTH features a tadpole type design with 2 wheels out front, and one in the rear. This makes a more stable trike at speed and while cornering. The steering is the the same centerpoint design Greenspeed has used for years, and yields a much smaller turning circle than lean to steer designs (10'10"). By powering the rear wheel, you can now ride places that you only dreamed of, as it provides greater traction Gearing wise, the Greenspeed GTH has 54 speeds spanning a remarkable 6-101 gear inches using the SRAM Dual Drive 3x9 rear hub with a Schlumpf 2 speed shifter in the crank. Shifting while pedaling or standing still is possible. Braking is by 2 drum brakes in the front wheels, with dual discs as an option. Seating is a very supported and ventilated full mesh design with lumbar and shoulder support where you sit "in" rather than "on" it for a more "one with the cycle" feel. The X5 is the one we can't keep in stock more than a few minutes. Based on the GT5 series, the X5 has 10- degrees more seat recline and positive cambered front wheels for more stability when pushing the envelope. Very quick acceleration, and one with the machine feel. Fold it quick for an easy fit into the car. The Terratrike Path is the most affordable tadpole trike design at $999. Sharing many of the features of the Cruiser and Tour simplified with a 3 speed drive train for casual recreational use in comfort.

The Terratrike Sport has the same component group as the Tour but on a sportier chassis made of aluminum (33 # weight), with a shorter wheelbase and a narrower track, but retaining the linkage steering for low key response.
	The Terratrike Race continues the weight loss program down to 31# with a considerably upgraded parts including premium Schwalbe Marathon tires on the aluminum chassis shared with the Sport.

For 2 on a trike.  The Terratrike Tandem has adjustable backrest Cordura fabric seating, S&S Couplers (see right) for easier transport.  Now available with an IPS crank system option so either rider can coast while the other pedals.

HARMONY Semi-Recumbent tandem.

In its 5th generation since 1983, the original alternative tandem design, the Harmony, offers a number of benefits over the traditional road tandem.

Independent pedal cadence.

The stoker may also choose his or her own pedal cadence, or stop pedaling if desired. This is accomplished in the gearing at the Cadence Modulator.

Versatility!

You can ride with any size of adult, or a KidFrontSystem which accommodates riders down to 4 years old. Special needs applications work great here with the Handcrank or Hand/Footcrank stoker option. This means that the Viewpoint will be used more often, and by more people than a traditional tandem.

The Harmony is such an integrated design, that it is impossible to separate individual features and say "there, that’s what makes it tick." Whether it is functional, structural, mechanical, or interpersonal, all of the features of this cycle work together to give you a great riding experience.
